National parks, such as Arenal Volcano, Bellena marine park, Barbilla, Barra Honda, Braulio Carrillo, Cahuita, Caño Negro, Chirripo, Cocos Island, and countless more make up 25% of the Country.

Exploring Costa Rica

The heart of Costa Rica is Central valley which offers a variety of cultural and natural sights and scenes. The rural areas are perfect for horseback riding.

The coast line of Puntarenas is full of islands, inlets, beaches and protected nature reserves. 

Guanacaste is home to the cradle of Costa Rican folklore, from the border of Nicaragua to to the Bongo river estuary in Nicoya peninsula. The South Pacific provide excellent adventure activities. The Northern plains with its several protected areas, lakes, lagoons, volcanoes, rivers and waterfalls is home to 75% of the bird population. The Caribbean is Costa Rica's soul, Afro-Caribbean culture in the surrounding areas like Cahuita, Puerto Viejo, and Gandoca-Manzanillo make this an eccentric place for adventure and culture.
